Our Guided Independent Study is a completely personalized learning experience with Maryanne, designed around your goals, your skill level, and your creative interests. Whether you want to refine your letterforms, explore gilding, develop intricate compositions, or dive into illuminated manuscripts, each series of four sessions is tailored to you. Meet in person at the studio or online, and leave each session with an assignment that builds toward the work you've been wanting to create. Available as a gift, too.

Trips
The Abbey Studio has organized manuscript study trips to some of the world's great libraries and museums, as well as calligraphy residencies on the Mediterranean coast of France.
